ALLOK Index Analysis Report, January 2025
The ALLOK Index is an essential real-time component procurement tool for purchasing managers. Relying on the massive data of IC Trading Network, it provides intuitive and visual references for component prices, shipment volumes, inventory stockpiles, and market demand over a specific period.
In July, IC companies successively released their financial reports, which generally indicated that the industrial market performed stronger, while the recovery of the automotive market was delayed. Aiming at the strong potential of China's new energy and intelligent industrial markets, NXP and Infineon successively announced localized strategies. During the month, STMicroelectronics (ST) announced the acquisition of NXP's MEMS sensor business to strengthen its business structure against the economic cycle. Texas Instruments (TI) was reported to have launched a large-scale price increase, which had complex impacts on the market and application side. Multiple domestic analog materials appeared on the list in July, reflecting the continuous deepening of the domestic substitution process. For memory products, DDR4 memory prices continued to rise in the third quarter (including July), even exceeding the prices of DDR5. In addition, NOR Flash and small-capacity eMMC products remained highly popular, indicating that the supply-demand relationship was still tight.
Data such as the hot search ranking, popularity surge, and inventory fluctuation of the July Chuangxin Index can reflect the overall market situation. For details, please refer to the full version of 2025 July ALLOK Index Analysis Report.
In terms of hot categories, the July ranking continued the previous pattern, but the search volume generally decreased, reflecting the supply-demand situation in the off-season market. For hot brands, the July ranking saw little change, and the search volume generally decreased; however, the declines of Vishay and Diodes – original manufacturers of passive and discrete devices – were relatively lower.

The pattern of the top 50 materials in July was consistent with that of previous periods, but the search volume generally decreased. The upward momentum of hot storage materials slowed down, and prices were basically stable at a high level. In terms of local hotspots, the search volume of individual models in the STM series increased; the popularity of MACOM's gallium arsenide PIN diodes continued; and Hangzhou Zhongkewei's video character overlay chip AT7456E entered the list. In terms of prices, some Micron DDR4 materials still saw significant price increases in July.

In terms of ICs, news of TI's price increase emerged during the month. Currently, the market response is relatively limited, but attention needs to be paid to the subsequent impacts on material supply-demand and domestic substitution. Brands such as ADI, ST, NXP, Infineon, and onsemi showed little overall fluctuation, with hotspots scattered in hard-to-substitute and discontinued materials.
In terms of storage, the price increase of DDR4 memory materials from brands such as Micron and Samsung continued, but the overall search volume of materials encountered resistance to growth. The popularity of Winbond's NOR Flash materials remained high, with demand concentrated in multiple capacity specifications. Small-capacity eMMC materials in NAND flash memory continued their price increase trend, showing a relative shortage of supply.
